David Pleat is one of the most respected names in football having been involved as a player, a coach, a director of football, an administrator, and a media pundit for more than 51 years.
He managed Tottenham Hotspur and Luton Town in the 1980s as well as enjoying spells at Nuneaton Borough and Sheffield Wednesday. From 1998 to 2005 he was also Director of Football at Spurs.
He is the longest serving member of the League Managers Association, a former Chairman of the Premier League Panel to review Reserve Team Football as well as numerous other bodies connected to the administration of the nation’s favourite sport.
